The Pass Plus Scheme is in essence 6 one-hour modules to cover areas of your driving that you may not have got in-depth or experienced knowledge and practice of during your learner lessons. These new experiences consist of motorway driving, night driving and different weather conditions. The Pass Plus Course will enhance and give you the required skills to advance your driving abilities further and develop these new areas of driving.

Motorways

In 2018 the law was changed allowing learner drivers to access motorways. However, as this is not an area of focus during your driving test many drivers either have no or limited experience driving on motorways.

Weather Conditions

Driving in hostile weather conditions such as Snow, Ice, Fog, Strong Winds and Heavy Rain make driving much more challenging than clear and dry conditions. The pass plus course will cover how to control your vehicle and the stopping distances of varying weather conditions.

Night Driving

Depending on the time of year you had driving lessons, driving at night may be a new experience. Night driving through pass plus teaches newly passed drivers how and when to use the correct type of lights, parking and other elements of driving in the dark.
